I really missed going to San Pedro and ordering seafood on the pier form Alaska. And since they moved  here I heard they tried to keep it exactly the same. Well it is exactly the same as if you were at San Pedro.

I ordered a michelada, oysters on a half shell, shrimp mojo de ajo and tempura shrimp. All were really fresh and exactly how they were prepared when they were at San Pedro. Prices were a tad bit cheaper too. Definitely coming back here to scratch my itch.

I should have known something was up when this place was totally empty at 12:30--prime lunch hour. The shrimp fajita seemed to be mostly made of potatoes and the campechana was like eating a cold bowl of ketchup. I rarely write bad reviews, but I am totally mystified as to how this place has such a high rating. It really is kind of terrible. This is the only time I've ever been to a spot rated highly on Yelp that's this bad.

I had a very positive dining experience here - the food was delicious and of filling portion size, the menu provides a decent variety of seafood, and there was plenty of parking and seating available.

The Tempura Oysters were of quite massive size, and were the cleanest-tasting oysters I've ever consumed. They went down well with the included thin tempura dipping sauce, and also proved to be well-paired with cocktail sauce. I would definitely order them again!

The Shrimp Fajita plate hit the spot - we opted for a medium-size plate (the most cost-effective portion, according to my math), which turned out to be massive and easily fed 2 people with plenty left over. I found the mild-level spiciness still a tad hot for my palate, and I ended up regretting not paying the nominal fee to get the shells peeled. The garlic bread that came with the plate was marvelous.

    P.S.
Judging from his conspicuous T-shirt, the friendly gentleman at the register is apparently a SIG Sauer enthusiast. I suspect anyone who tries to hold this place up will likely meet an unenviable fate.

For my birthday I really wanted to go to Pan Pacific in San Pedro but unfortunately all the restaurants were closed so I yelped and this was the restaurant everyone was recommending to come to because of the similar taste and quality of the food. The food here was great but it had a slightly different taste, but it wasn't bad so I'll definitely come back.

Bench seating - good for groups.  Unpretentious, clean and spacious.  Open all day which is great.  Oysters were fresh - I enjoyed both the half shell and the fried tempura oysters.  Fish was good too.  Prices are fair and it does remind me a lot of the Redondo Beach without having to drive all the way out there.  Definitely going back.

They have a large parking lot - you enter through Beverly (north side).

I wish though that they would use real plates and flatware/utensils instead of plastic forks and spoons or throwaway plates.
